3. What's included with every Lone Peak Camper V2?
Every Camper V2, regardless of build tier, includes a lift-away bed, black-out tent, tent extensions, positive pressure vent, side access doors, tent condensation vents, a 4" × 80" mattress, and T-Slots inside & out for accessory mounting.
4. How long does it take to receive my camper after I order?
Production time averages 4–6 weeks, but varies by capacity — contact our sales team for current lead times.
Once your camper is built, plan for an additional 1–2 weeks of crating coordination plus 1–2 weeks of delivery if shipping to a certified installer. Or skip shipping entirely with free pickup at our East Wenatchee, WA HQ. See our shipping policy for the full breakdown.
5. Is shipping included or extra?
Shipping to a certified installer is a flat-rate fee of $1,000–$2,000 depending on installer location, with professional installation included. Free pickup with installation is available at our HQ in East Wenatchee, WA — no shipping fee.
6. Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, with conditions. Reserve your camper with a fully-refundable $500 deposit or pay in full. The $500 deposit is refundable anytime before your order is finalized — about one month before production begins, our team contacts you to review build details, and once the final invoice is paid the deposit becomes non-refundable.
If you paid in full, you may cancel before the confirmation call (a $250 fee covers non-refundable credit card processing). After the confirmation call and final invoice payment, all sales are final. See our refund policy for complete terms.
7. What is the return policy on campers and accessories?
We do not accept returns on custom-built campers or individually purchased accessories. However, if you encounter any issues or concerns (such as manufacturing defects or damage during shipping) after receiving your camper, we are committed to working with you to resolve them.
8. Do Lone Peak Overland campers come with a warranty?
Yes. The Camper V2 carries a tiered warranty:
- Limited Lifetime Warranty on aluminum extrusions and frame connections, for the original purchaser and original vehicle, against manufacturing defects.
- Limited 2-Year Warranty on the tent (fabric and zippers), accessory components, and baseline camper configuration components, from the date of receipt.
The warranty does not cover normal wear, environmental damage, unauthorized modifications, or accidental damage. See our warranty policy for the full terms, what's covered/not covered, and how to file a claim.
9. Can I add accessories after my camper is built?
Some accessories are only available at the time of purchase, but DIY options are typically available. Contact our sales team to learn more about which accessories can be added after your camper is built.
10. What materials is the Camper V2 built from?
The Lone Peak Camper V2 is built from custom aluminum extrusions bolted together (no welding) with composite panels bonded to the frame. This makes it lighter than steel-welded alternatives while maintaining structural rigidity — the foundation of our "lightweight pop-up wedge truck bed camper" design.
11. Does the camper attach to my truck without drilling?
The Camper V2 mounts via Lone Peak's puck mounting system, typically attaching to existing bed rail tie-down points. Most trucks require no drilling. Specific install details are confirmed by your certified installer or our HQ team.
