How has the camper changed the way you adventure?

We’ve had our Lone Peak camper for a while now, and it’s completely changed how we camp. The setup stays ready to roll—throw in a duffel, hit the grocery store, and we’re gone. Since adding the camper, we’ve been getting out at least once a month and have racked up around 20 nights this year. We used to run a rooftop tent, but this setup is next‑level. There’s way more space to move around, and being able to get out of the weather or make coffee inside when it’s raining is awesome. Plus, our dog finally has his own spot instead of taking up half the bed. The best part? I can wake up early, brew a cup of coffee, read, or hop out of the truck without waking my wife or daughter. The Lone Peak has basically made spontaneous trips easy again. Having everything set up and ready to go means no excuses—just load up and explore. Zero regrets switching from the RTT life. My favorite thing has to be how easy it is to just get out and go. We keep the truck ready, so heading out for a weekend takes almost no planning. But honestly, the real surprise has been how the camper hasn’t hurt fuel economy at all. That’s huge. I did a pretty simple, utilitarian build in the bed, so when I’m not camping, it still works perfectly as a truck — runs to Home Depot, hauling gear, or loading up mountain bikes, no problem. It’s the best of both worlds: adventure rig and daily driver in one.
