Matt's Nissan Titan – Lone Peak Overland

Truck Setup

- 2020 titan with dirtking 3 1/2" lift front suspension
- Stock wheels
- BFG's Ko3 t-275/R18 tires
- No name running boards
- Swing away gas can and propane rack
- OVS 270 awning
- OVS shower cube
- Custom skid plates
- 4-no name traction boards
- 3-100 watt solar panels on the top
- Lone peak fan

I installed wind deflectors in front of the fan and solar panels. I ordered the camper with no windows anywhere, diy bed slide, dual epoch 105 amp batteries, 10 1/2 gallon water tank with an tv pump, I wired my own electric board coupled to the Juicebox and light kit, 2500 watt inverter with a tailgate outlet, I have a gear vault with 4 bags and a molle panel and added 2 bags to the panel and a med kit, plus I just installed the outside shelf on the opposite side of the gear vault. I removed the cargo net on the bed platform and installed a pass thru panel that is on gas shocks and folds down at night to give me a almost full length bed. I made a bed rug style cover and ran a propane and water port to the tailgate area. I relaxed the bed gas shocks and added a table stow rack. I installed a pull out shelf to the end of the bed slide. I installed a water heater to one of two side molle panels.

How has the camper changed the way you adventure?

I have severe back issues and sleeping in aground tent for years was too much. I purchased a rtt and really enjoyed all the advantages, but after a few years the set up with a lifted truck got to be too much. I hit you tube for a few months and came across lone peak and Kyle's story which immediately resonated with me. I researched EVERYTHING truck tents. I decided on lone peak and paid the deposit and w a i t e d for many months but I was fishing in Idaho and made a quick trip to Wenatchee and met with Kyle and he let me check out the prototype and I was sold, again. The price was great , but his attitude and sincerity sold me. Now it doesn't kill my back to go to bed and packing isn't a punishment, totally changed my camping experience. There are similar campers out there that have similar features. They have copied his features and I think Kyle gave others credit for some of his features. My favorite thing is its versatility in being able to personalize it and add features easily. The thing about the camper that isn't "glued" to the camper is Kyle and his crew.
